Custom Vinyl & Heat Transfer in the Bay Area

Heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) is precision-cut colored film pressed onto the garment. It’s crisp, tough, and unbeatable for names and numbers — the workhorse behind custom sports uniforms.

What is vinyl printing?

A machine cuts your design out of a sheet of colored vinyl, the excess is weeded away, and the design is heat-pressed onto the shirt. Because each piece can be cut and pressed individually, vinyl is perfect for personalization — think player names and numbers where every shirt is different.

Vinyl is single-color per layer and extremely durable, making it ideal for bold text and simple graphics. For detailed, full-color, or photographic art, DTF is the better route.

FAQCommon questions

Vinyl & Heat Transfer, answered.

Is there a minimum order for vinyl?

Vinyl orders have a 12-piece minimum. It’s most often added to a screen-printed team order for personalized names and numbers, with no setup fees.

Is vinyl good for team jerseys?

Yes — vinyl is the standard for names and numbers because each shirt can be personalized individually, and the material stands up to athletic wear.

Can vinyl do full-color designs?

Vinyl is one solid color per layer, so it’s best for bold text and simple graphics. For full-color or photographic artwork, DTF is the better choice.

How durable is heat-transfer vinyl?

Very. Properly pressed vinyl resists cracking and peeling through heavy use and washing when cared for on a cold, gentle cycle.

Can you do individual names and numbers?

Absolutely — that’s exactly what vinyl is for. Send us your roster and we’ll personalize every piece.
