Glitter Ink Printing in the Bay Area
Glitter ink suspends real metallic flakes in the ink so your print sparkles and shifts as it catches the light. It’s a bold, textured, celebratory finish — the shirt equivalent of turning the lights up on a design — and it works in a whole range of glitter colors.
What glitter ink is (and isn’t)
Glitter ink is a specialty screen-printing ink loaded with metallic or iridescent flakes. Unlike a glitter heat-transfer sheet, the sparkle is in the ink itself, so it follows the exact shape of your printed design. The finish is textured and slightly raised — you can feel the flakes.
Because the flakes are relatively coarse, glitter is happiest on bold shapes and lettering. Fine detail and small text can look rough, so we’ll review your art and suggest the cleanest layout before printing.
Where it lands best
Glitter is a crowd-pleaser for dance and cheer teams, spirit wear, birthdays, bachelorette and party merch, holidays, and any design that’s meant to celebrate. Pair it with a flat print for contrast, or go all-in on a fully glittered graphic.
- Dance, cheer, and spirit wear
- Bachelorette and birthday party merch
- Holiday and celebration designs
- Bold lettering and logos with sparkle
- Art & quote. Send your design and pick a glitter color; we confirm fit and quote it.
- Proof & screen. You approve a proof, then we prep a screen for the glitter ink.
- Print & cure. We lay the flake-heavy ink evenly and cure it to lock the sparkle in.
- Ship. Folded, counted, and shipped — free on orders over $200.
Sparkle that catches every light.
Glitter ink is thick and flake-heavy, so it takes the right mesh and a clean press to lay down evenly. We print it so the sparkle is dense and consistent across every shirt in the run.
- A real proof before we burn a screen
- Dense, even flake coverage
- A range of glitter colors
- Satisfaction guaranteed — 15+ years of printing
Glitter Ink, answered.
Does the glitter flake off?
No — the flakes are held in the cured ink, not glued on loose, so a properly cured glitter print stays put. Wash inside-out on cold and skip high dryer heat to keep it looking its best.
What glitter colors can I get?
Silver and gold are the classics, along with other metallic and iridescent options. Tell us the color story of your design and we’ll match a glitter to it.
Can glitter ink do fine detail?
The flakes are coarse, so glitter shines on bold shapes and lettering rather than tiny text or thin lines. We’ll review your art and recommend the cleanest approach.
Is there a minimum order?
Glitter is a screen-print ink and follows our 36-piece screen-printing minimum. Send your art and quantity with your quote for pricing.
Puff Print
A raising agent lifts the ink off the shirt for a soft, 3D, spongy finish — the retail-favorite look that begs to be touched.
High-Density Printing
Ink built up in sharp, glossy, raised layers with crisp vertical edges — including clear high-density gloss and raised heat-transfer versions.
Water-Based & Discharge Printing
Ink that soaks into the fibers instead of sitting on top — an ultra-soft, almost printless feel. Discharge does it on dark garments.
Sublimation Printing
Dye turned to gas bonds permanently into polyester for edge-to-edge, all-over color that never cracks, peels, or fades.
Process & Halftone Printing
Photo-realistic artwork screen-printed with halftone dots — simulated process on darks and 4-color CMYK on whites.
Metallic & Foil Printing
Mirror-bright metallic foil bonded to an adhesive print — gold, silver, and holographic shine, as a direct print or a ready-to-press transfer.
Glow-in-the-Dark Ink
Phosphorescent ink that charges under light and glows green in the dark — a hidden second design that only shows at night.
Fluorescent & Neon Ink
Electric neon inks that pop in daylight and glow bright under UV blacklight — the go-to for parties, runs, and club nights.
Color-Changing Inks
Inks that transform with heat (thermochromic) or water (hydrochromic) — a print that reveals a hidden design when it warms up or gets wet.
Silicone Ink Printing
Stretchy, ultra-soft silicone ink that flexes with the fabric and resists cracking — a premium, tagless-soft finish built for performance wear.
Printing on Polyester
Special low-cure inks and blockers stop dye migration so prints stay bright and true on polyester, tri-blends, and performance fabrics.
