Custom DTF Printing in the Bay Area
DTF (Direct-to-Film) prints your full-color artwork onto a special film, then heat-presses it onto almost any fabric. It delivers photo-detail color with no minimums and no color limits.
What is DTF printing?
Your design is printed onto a clear film with a powdered adhesive backing, then pressed onto the garment with heat. The result is a vivid, full-color transfer that bonds to cotton, polyester, blends, and tricky materials that screen printing struggles with.
Because there are no screens to set up, DTF is ideal for small runs, one-offs, and designs with unlimited colors or gradients. Prints are stretchy and durable, with a light film hand you can feel compared to the near-nothing feel of DTG.

DTF Printing, answered.
DTF vs. screen printing — which is cheaper?
For small quantities or full-color art, DTF usually wins because there are no per-color screen setups. For large runs of a simple 1–3 color design, screen printing is typically more cost-effective per shirt.
Does DTF work on any color shirt?
Yes. DTF includes a white underbase, so colors stay bright and accurate even on black and dark garments.
How durable is DTF?
DTF prints are stretchy and hold up well through dozens of washes when cared for properly (turn inside-out, wash cold, avoid high-heat drying).
Is there a minimum for DTF?
No minimum — DTF is our go-to for single custom pieces and small batches.
